The Fountains at Bellagio
The Fountains at Bellagio – A light, water and music spectacular
The Bellagio in Las Vegas is well known for its opulent setting and grand atmosphere. More well known though are her spectacular fountains that greet guests in all their grandeur on an 8-acre lake.
The ‘dancing’ fountains are a skilful choreography of water, light and music – dancing to an ‘orchestra’ of opera, classical and Broadway music. It will no doubt have you gaping in amazement. Even if you aren’t romantically inclined, its magical performance will awaken your senses…and have you mesmerized.
We had the opportunity to catch performances in the day and night, and recommend that you watch the dusk/night performance. Against the dusky backdrop of the desert skyline, the performance is even more spectacular – a ‘magical’ show that shouldn’t be missed, and it’s free!
Sidenote…
The Bellagio and her fountains have been made further famous by the movies; Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen.
