Fatty’s Kitchen

Fatty’s Kitchen – Chinese home-style on an island paradise

Tired of the usual fare on offer, a wander to the back of the ‘International Market Place’ on Waikiki beach brought me to Fatty’s Kitchen.  What a discovery!  It’s no frills, cheap and cheerful.  Just what I needed, some simple food.

Something like a ‘sushi train’, you sit on stools by a bar and get to watch the two chefs fire it up on their big ol’ woks.  It’s quite a show, really.  Before you know it, it’s all plated up and you get to dig in!

Collectively (and over the years we’ve been going there), we’ve tried numerous dishes.  Fatty’s never fails us, always a good eat if you like simple Chinese.  It gets really busy at lunch and dinner, so be prepared to wait or order takeaway.
